Curated by David Lang—this season's holder of the Richard and Barbara Debs Composer’s Chair—as part of his collected stories series, the program includes works by Julia Wolfe and Nico Muhly that musically examine the emotional impact and intensity of intoxicating love, envy, betrayal, and devastating loss.
